Program structure and advice on taking classes:

We highly recommend that you take all the core seminars in the order outlined in the schedule. It is a better idea, that you take less electives if you want to decrease the workload.

MACIS is designed as a full-time Master degree program (time investement 40 - 50 hours per week) that can and should be completed within three to four semesters. (at the latest in three years).

Each core seminar is only offered once per year, so if you do not take a core seminar, then you have to wait one year to take the seminar. There is an increased risk of running into a time problem with finishing your degree in time if you fail a core seminar that was taken out of order (third instead of first semester for example). Also, keep in mind that that the program is designed so courses are scheduled in a specific semester to be coherent with other courses in terms of their content.
